Dr. Crowley has been elected to a second term on the Board of Trustees of the American Psychiatric Association (Area 3 Trustee, representing the mid-Atlantic states, from 2010-2013 and 2013-2016) He was honored by the Certificate of Appreciation for Contribution to the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury, Presented 19 March 2010 by BG Sutton, Director DCoE
Recent Publications and Presentations:
"Law and Psychiatry: Assessing Civil Competence," Journal of Psychiatric Practice, Nov. 2006, Vol. 12, No. 6, pages 402-405 Dr. Crowley presented by videotape his successful defense testimony in an Army court martial, at American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law's annual meeting in Miami Beach, October 2007.

Also, in May 2005 Dr. Crowley presented "Comprehensive Psychiatry: Patients with Medically Unexplained Physical Symptoms and PTSD" at American Psychiaric Association's Annual Meeting in Atlanta.
He again spoke to APA's Annual Meeting in Toronto (May 2006) on "Comprehensive Psychiatry 2006: Access to Care and Confidentiality in Private Practice and in Military Practice."
